Mike was instrumental in the formation of IHS and led the buy and build strategy combining Worldhotels and Trust International, IFH AG and Nexus World Services to create one the of the world’s leading hotel services businesses with over $3 billion of TTV. Having conceived the strategy he then drove its successful implementation and presided over a near tripling of EBITDA over the 5 years hold period. Mike deserves great credit for his role in this highly successful investment which concluded with a successful sale to Battery Ventures, a USA Private Equity Company for nearly 4x money.”
